Department Overview:

Regulatory demands and the focus on Markets Surveillance have intensified globally. As a result the Trade Surveillance Technology team at Citi Belfast has an increased book of work that requires additional business lines, countries, and more sophisticated surveillance methods to be delivered using our strategic platforms. These platforms allow users to monitor trading activity across multiple asset classes and information barriers, on real time, end of day, and historic lookup bases for indications of potential Market Abuse, Insider Dealing, and other types of fraud. As we further expand global coverage and deliver more sophisticated Behavioral Analytics based solutions, we are seeking an additional experienced Technical Programme Manager to join the team.

Responsibilities:
  • Able to work in a fast paced, dynamic environment with little supervision
  • Self-motivated and able to take the initiative to work closely with Dev leads , other supporting groups , App managers , Delivery managers, DBA , Server Admins , HR & Vendors
  • Develop, maintain project plans and prepare regular reporting on projects / BAU items
  • supports planning, directing and coordination of day-to-day activities of running a program or portfolio of programs.
  • Collate program level update and share the weekly/ monthly dashboards with senior management
  • Work with leads in gathering status
  • Drive weekly calls with APP/ Dev managers & Dev ops team
  • Perform Initial analysis on technical issues
  • Participate in application releases, from deployment to UAT & Prod
  • Monitor and manage program risks, issues, assumptions and dependencies whilst escalating
  • Facilitate workshops and planning sessions as required
  • Coordination for PM related regulatory concerns and providing guidance during internal/external audits
  • Conduct Book of Work Reviews and health checks
  • Act as a liaison between DevOps/ Application managers, interfacing internal technology groups and vendors
  • Ensures essential procedures are followed and helps to define operating standards and processes
  • Build strong relationships with key stakeholders across GFT
  • Conduct Book of Work Reviews and health checks
  • Facilitate workshops and planning sessions as required


Qualifications:
  • Significant experience in a PMO / Project Lead role
  • Effective written and verbal communications including ability to explain underlying Infrastructure technical issues in simple terms that Application managers / Senior Management staff can understand
  • Demonstrated analytical skills
  • Issue tracking and reporting using tools
  • Proven analytical/technical aptitude evidenced by 5 or more years of successful experience in suggested role
  • Working experience on handling multiple projects simultaneously
  • Good understanding of program management methodologies, frameworks, processes, tools and industry best practices
  • Experience in applying and embedding PMO methodologies across large scale programs
  • Excellent planning and task management skills
  • Proven experience in facilitating workshops and program planning sessions
  • Strong analytical skills and problem solving skills
  • Experience of working with business stakeholders across multiple businesses, regions and support functions


Skills:
  • Working knowledge about MS Office product especially excel, ppt
  • Willing to learn and adopt new tools, processes


Desirable Skills:
  • SharePoint development & maintenance
  • Working experience on tools like RLM/ Service now/ JIRA / Confluence/ SharePoint is a plus


Education:
  • Bachelor's/University degree or equivalent experience
  • Recognised program/project management qualification such as PMP, PRINCE2, MSP
