Job Purpose
We are looking to bring in a individual Build and Devops Engineer who is responsible for accomplishing devops automation and building devops pipeline. The candidate is required to possess relevant devops process and automation experience in the complex multi tech systems and should be a strong team lead. While working in a cross-functional environment, this position requires intense collaboration with the engineering, development, design, testing, line of business, subject matter experts. This is a significant opportunity in Finance distributed platforms working in partnership with Citi Data Office and Finance and Risk Shared Services(FRSS) team. To be successful in this role, you will need to have proven experience in either of Investment Banking / Capital Markets or Retail Banking technology to implement the next generation Automation Platform using cutting edge low code automation and BPM Technologies.

GFT Finance Services Automation platform is a global application in Global Functions Technology built for providing low code automation services. The application is built for Finance and Risk Shared Services (FRSS) global team to automate thousands of manual processes that are required to complete as part of month-end close process. Application will be integrated with numerous finance applications to send and receive data and ultimately will allow FRSS Power Users to participate in workflow development and process modeling.

This data repository is built on Enterprise Standards and anchored to the financials, for the use of Finance and Risk; regulatory and management reporting. The team is working on an exciting automation and simplification program, aligned with latest technologies. The Pune team is the global center for the creation of automation workflows. The volume and variety of data involved in these Finance and Risk Functions results in one of most challenging and appropriate use cases for low code automation technologies.

The specific global team you will be working with is responsible for deployment, build process, automation of process and delivery pipeline, implement code quality, CICD automation and manage automation book of work needed to enable EUC remediation.

Responsibilities

• Responsible to articulate and recommend Build vs Buy decisions and provide technical recommendations.
• Build and manage a strong technical team and actively engaging in career development of direct staff.
• Support Set up, Maintenance and Enhancement of CI/CD& ALM processes. Ensure 100% tools and Process adoption realized.
• Ownership of Incident and application problems whilst working with stakeholders and support teams.
• Act as Key team player to ensure routine tasks automation for maximum development operations efficiency.
• Utilize in-depth knowledge and skills across multiple Applications Development areas to provide technical oversight across systems and applications
• Review and analyze proposed technical solutions for projects
• Partners with multiple Technology teams to ensure appropriate integration of functions to meet goals; identifies and defines necessary system enhancements to deploy new products and process enhancements.
• Solves / works a variety of high impact, high-profile problems / projects with considerable business impact through in-depth evaluation of complex business processes, system processes and industry standards.
• Provides expertise in area and an advanced level of understanding of the principles of applications programming.
• Develops standards for coding, testing, debugging and implementation.
• Providing expertise in technical analysis and solving technical issues during project delivery.
• Responsible for applications systems analysis and programming activities.

Must Have Skills

• Minimum 5 years of Release/Build Experience.
• Experience in cutting edge technologies like Kubernetes, Docker, Vagrant, Openshift, Zookeeper, Terraform and designing and building new infrastructure features
• Experience in Keeping automated infrastructure up-to-date as dependent technologies evolve and scale
• Ability to Adjust Priorities quickly as situation dictate.
• Strong working knowledge of prevalent build and automation languages (Gradle, Maven, Ant, Groovy)
• Strong working experience in CI/CD Tools JIRA, BitBucket, Jenkins, RLM, Sonarqube, Black Duck, Container Service and Cloud.
• Experience in low code automation
• Experience in creating new tools to increase visibility into product quality, performance and releasability.
• Experience in Automating every aspect of development lifecycle and manage continuous delivery
• Knowledge of Appian Release and Build deployment
• Excellent communication skills.
• Knowledge of Agile Methodologies

Good to have

• Exposure on low code automation platform

Educational Qualification

• Bachelor's degree/University degree or equivalent experience
• Master's degree preferred
