CPB Risk Analyst - Officer (C10), Singapore

Working closely with the CPB Risk Managers, the candidate will develop an in-depth understanding of the Citi Private Banking (CPB) business in Asia, across credit product programs (e.g. Margin Lending, Capital Markets, Real Estate, Art, Aircraft, Unsecured) and legal jurisdictions (with booking centers in Singapore, Hong Kong, India and Australia). The candidate will also work in partnership with other internal stakeholders (Investment Finance, Bankers, Operations, Technology, Compliance, Legal) to drive various ad-hoc projects .

Responsibilities:

Credit related work

• Support the High Net Worth Risk Manager and team members on various task which includes, among others the design and implementation of monitoring tools and dashboards. This will involve data mining / pulling of credit and non-credit related information from various systems and working in partnership with Investment Finance and Technology
• Assist Risk Managers in the review of the quarterly Quantifiable Metrics for Credit Product Programs to ensure data quality and completeness
• Thorough understanding of risk rating methodologies and the underlying models
• Review smaller/plain vanilla credit proposals and provide feedback to Risk SCOs on targeted sections such as appropriateness of Risk Ratings
• Assist with ad-hoc Senior Management needs, including data analysis/aggregation and presentations
• Undertake assigned Risk ad-hoc projects / assist Risk Managers in ad-hoc projects

Governance / Regulatory related work

• Assist in the ICG Wholesale Credit Risk Remediation Initiatives
• Coordinate and assist in other ad-hoc projects which may arise from time to time

Qualifications:

• 1-3 years of relevant experience
• Detail-oriented and must be able to pull together data in an organized manner
• Strong analytical skills
• Able to work independently but is also a good team player
• Good communication skills (both written and verbal)
• Proficient in MS Office applications (Microsoft Excel, Word and Powerpoint)

Education:

• Bachelor's degree/University degree or equivalent experience. Background in Accounting / Finance will be advantageous
