Associate - Loan Structuring & Syndications ("LSS")

On a daily basis, the Associate will be responsible for providing analytical and execution support for syndicated loans (both cash flow and asset based) and asset based finance originations.

Responsibilities

• Supporting deal origination by drafting pitch materials incorporating an analysis of capital structure, credit profile, publicly available data on companies and transactions, and industry research.
• Preparing market comparables, initial due diligence lists, deal pre-screen presentations, and drafting indicative term sheets.
• Execute lead-arranged transactions by preparing organization books, drafting marketing materials
• (Confidential Information Memorandums, Lender presentations), organizing bank meetings, assisting in the negotiation of legal documentation and managing the closing process
• Interface with banker coverage and other partners to assist in the coordination and execution of transactions and to effectively meet deal timelines.
• Exhibit business and credit judgment as well as to provide balanced assessments in working with internal team members and partners.
• Prepare a review of participations and the preparation of no-objection memos.
• Maintain a strong attention to detail and complete work in assigned timeframes.

• Strong financial and analytic skills and ability to rapidly assimilate complex information
• Formal credit training

• Excellent written and presentation skills

Education

• Bachelor's degree/University degree with minimum of 2-3 years of banking experience
