Marketing Development is a division of Citi's Retail Services Marketing group. The Marketing Development team support the entire North America consumer and commercial Retail Services portfolio of 30+ retail partners. The Marketing Development team's charter is to support the Marketing Domain by delivering an exceptional customer experience, maintain the integrity and manage the success of all digital channels, and successfully deliver on key enterprise projects that improve customer interactions with our partners, positively impact the business' bottom line and drive increased digital engagement - with a strong focus on governance and controls in the execution of all activities.

We are seeking a talented, imaginative and energetic professional who is passionate about providing customers with best in class digital experiences that simplify the processes that include interacting with digital marketing, submission of credit applications, registering for digital services, and ongoing use of credit to purchase both retail partners' products and external purchases. This individual will fill a Journey Owner role, report to the Senior Vice President (SVP) of Marketing Development, and will be responsible for helping to define and deliver new and enhanced online experiences and capabilities for consumer and commercial credit card customers. She/he will serve as a champion and Subject Matter Expert (SME) for the integration of digital marketing across all user experiences. She/he will support the planning and efforts of Senior Journey Owner members of the Marketing Development team, with a focus on how project activities support the overall goals of the Marketing Domain. She/he will have a strong orientation towards governance and controls, and will be specifically tasked with efforts to automate existing manual processes while ensuring new features and functionality are supported by rigorous monitoring and controls. She/he will engage with members of other functional areas including Legal/Compliance, Fraud, Operations, IT, Digital Product, creative agencies and research organizations. She/he must have strong business and product management skills, sufficient technology expertise to understand what is possible from a digital experience and capability perspective, and the ability to articulate how digital solutions support retail partners' and CRS' business needs and objectives. She/he must collaborate effectively with others as CRS moves to a fully Agile approach for identifying, prioritizing, defining and delivering features and functionality.

  • Work with Senior Journey Owners and other stakeholders to define our marketing/digital marketing enhancement strategy and roadmap
  • Serve as a SME for customer journeys in area of responsibility, as well as the martech systems the support delivery.
  • Define feature and capability enhancements by leveraging available data, analytics and insights
  • Support the project/enhancement prioritization process
  • Support CRS' Domain operating model, including process mapping and Agile delivery
  • Partner with governance functions to ensure that digital enhancements are delivered with proper controls, and adhere to government regulations and CRS business practices and policies
  • Collaborate with other CRS SMEs to resolve customer and business impacting issues
  • Define, manage and own digital product epics, features and requirements
  • Work to align all digital marketing activities with offline/cross-channel activities
  • Direct the efforts of creative agencies and research organizations that support the digital/product enhancement process
  • Assist Senior Journey Owners / Product Owners with development and delivery of digitally focused materials to CRS' business development, partner management, marketing and operations organizations
  • Help CRS onboard new retail partners to its digital products and platforms

  • 1-3 years of Agile product enhancement and delivery experience preferred
  • Strong organizational and project management skills
  • Strong team player with excellent interpersonal skills
  • Ability to influence, collaborate and clearly communicate

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in business administration, marketing, or information technology
