Job Description:

The U.S. Consumer MCA Quality Control Officer is aligned with business and risk partners to independently analyze and test the quality and consistency within USCB's Manager's Control Assessment (MCA), specifically the Activity, Risk, Control, and Monitoring (ARCMs) statements. Testing will ensure the current and newly added ARCMs meet the set quality standards established by leadership for a consistent approach in managing and documenting risk. This person may work directly with business partners and/or risk partners to confirm conclusions, and remediate any findings as part of the analysis performed. Requires attention to detail when making judgments and recommendations based on the analysis of factual information.

Key responsibilities include:

• Design and execution of the quality control program and testing of an inventory of ARCMs reported in the MCA program
• Drive common technology solutions and implementation dates across U.S. Consumer Lines of Business for automation opportunities Deliver consistent processes and cadence with business partners and/or ARCM owners to perform analysis and obtain appropriate overview and documentation to support overall conclusion Measure and communicate results, while providing detailed recommendations for enhancement (when needed) to business partners and ARCM owners Escalate findings timely and publish quality control results on a recurring basis to management Ensure appropriate and timely remedial actions are in place where deficiencies are identified Identify enhancements to the process and keep procedures current and consistent Participate in training business partners and/or ARCM owners to improve quality Support best practices and maintain full awareness to all MCA policy requirements Additional duties as assigned

Qualifications:

6-10 years relevant experience Experience in operational risk management MCA experience preferred Demonstrated analytical ability; asks insightful questions Excellent verbal and written communication skills Interpersonal skills and ability to work well in a team environment Proficient in MS Office applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
